The night before I got back to Bangi, I finally managed to sew a decent baju kurung for Dinky Aeisyah. Well, I did sew ones for her for Hari Raya Puasa but the outcome was disasterous! But this time it was different. I know how to systematically cut the fabric for the baju kurung and and this time I could sew the neck opening properly. Thanks to my sewing lesson at Epal. Phewww!
'Lihatlah........Pandanglah.......'The fabric is a SB Line cotton. I got it cheap at Kemaman, RM 8.00/metre. You can find it at Jakel but the price is usually RM25.00/metre. I used wrap button for this baju kurung because it is very hard to find a cute button here. The dress part is a 'kurung pahang' cutting while the 'kain' is 'susun tepi'. However, I need to lenghten the dress and improve the neck opening for Dinky Aeisyah's next 'baju kurung'.
